Case study of ORC binary power generation using biogas engines.

Recovering normally discarded waste heat and converting heat sources into resources! Heat recovery from biogas engines.

Many livestock farmers utilize fermentation tanks to convert animal waste into biogas, which is then used as fuel for engines connected to power generation sets. In fact, it is not widely known that Zuccato Energia's ORC system can recover waste heat that is typically discarded, such as the heat contained in the exhaust steam from these power generation sets and surplus heat from cooling water, thereby converting it into a resource and improving efficiency. These heat recovery systems can, of course, be applied to any power generation set engine, regardless of the fuel used. 【Applicable Examples】 ■ Biogas ■ Syngas ■ Vegetable oil ■ Methane ■ Biofuels *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Case Study 1 of Waste Heat Recovery Energy Saving Implementation (Food Factory)

Recover waste heat from hot water discharge! The temperature of the wastewater released into the river decreases, reducing the impact on the river ecosystem.

This is a case study on the introduction of waste heat recovery and energy-saving measures in a food factory. Waste heat is recovered from the hot water (waste hot water) used for sterilizing products, and a heat pump is used to produce hot water to heat the boiler's feedwater tank, thereby saving fuel for the boiler. Additionally, since waste heat is recovered from the waste hot water, the temperature of the wastewater discharged into rivers is reduced, which decreases the impact on river ecosystems. *For more details on the case study, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for more information.*

Heat solution

Utilizing our "unique core technology developed in water heater development"! We will solve various challenges.

We would like to introduce our "Thermal Solutions" that we offer. By utilizing our unique core technologies, we address challenges such as "wanting to reduce CO2," "wanting to improve the working environment (heat stress measures)," and "wanting to reduce energy costs." As examples, we provide solutions such as "waste heat recovery/preheating of supply water," "waste heat recovery/preheating of intake air from wastewater," and "heating/cooling systems." 【Main challenges we solve】 ■ Wanting to reduce CO2 ■ Wanting to improve the working environment (heat stress measures) ■ Wanting to reduce energy costs ■ Wanting to reduce maintenance labor for heat exchangers ■ Wanting to control maximum demand power (demand value) ■ Wanting to formulate a decarbonization roadmap *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
